What If business Isn't going well? I'm nervous to reach out.

Absolutely everything is confidential. I will not share or disclose any information about your business financials at any time. If your business is experiencing a difficult season, you’re in the right place! Let’s clean up your financials so you can understand exactly what needs improvement

Can you sign off on my financial statements?

Because I'm not a CPA, my role is preparing your financial statements for you to view. I am unable to do audits or sign off on your financial statements. However, I work hand in hand with your CPA at year-end to ensure they have everything they need, taking all of the stress off of you!

Who do you work with?

I specialize in working with professionals in the real estate and wedding industries. Real estate agents, investors, developers, and interior designers. As well as florists, event planners, stationary designers etc.

What if my business income varies from month to month?

It's not uncommon for many businesses, especially in our area to go through busy seasons and slow seasons. In our consultation, we can figure out what would be best for your business.

What if I'm in a different city or province?

That’s what’s great about this business being completely virtual! Over half of my clients are out of state. For any clients not in the area, I use Zoom for consultations and meetings. All bank statements, receipts, check requests, invoices, etc can be communicated through a shared Google Drive between me and the client.

What if I don't have QuickBooks?

Not a problem! I can either walk you through setting it up, or do it with/for you!

What if I'm saving myself money by doing the bookkeeping myself?

Even with a basic understanding of bookkeeping, you might still be missing some critical elements to bookkeeping. A professional bookkeeper with the experience and credentials is guaranteed to properly code and record the everyday transactions. Hiring a professional bookkeeper saves you money for three reasons: 1) It helps a business owner understand where they are overspending and how they can improve their performance, which leads to increased profits over time, 2) it decreases the yearly bill owed to your CPA because you are no longer causing them to clean up months of unreconciled, messy books, and 3) when you're doing your own books, you're not making money in your business, nor are you spending time with family.

Do you offer tax services?

I do not file annual tax returns or offer any CPA services, but we do have a CPA we can refer you to!
